Singer David Adeleke also known as Davido has prayed for God’s intervention as the Supreme Court decides for the Osun gubernatorial election between PDP’s Ademola Adeleke and APC’s Adegboyega Oyetola.
The petition challenging the victory of Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, in July 2022, will be decided today, Tuesday, May 9, 2023.
Recall that the Court of Appeal, Abuja Division, had earlier set aside the decision of the Osun State Governorship Election Petition Tribunal, which nullified the victory of Ademola Adeleke as governor-elect. The ruling affirmed Adeleke as the winner of the July 16th 2022 election.
The singer on his social media shared his anticipation for great results for his uncle, Senator Ademola Adeleke.
He prayed that God would push the court to do the right thing.
His post read, “Osun State Election Petition hearing comes up at the Supreme Court today.
“We look forward to the judicial affirmation of @AAdeleke_01 (The people’s) mandate.
“The hardest part is done, winning a free and fair Election. May God let the court do the right thing.”
