Nollywood actress, Funke Akindele, has reacted over Senator Ademola Adeleke’s win at the last conducted Governorship election in Osun state.
The actress took to her Instagram to congratulate Adeleke, the governor-elect of the state.
She referred to the winning candidate as the light of Osun state. She stated that power has changed and it will remain that way.
Funke wrote, “Congratulations Senator Ademola Adeleke on your victory as the next Governor of Osun State. Indeed power has changed hands. IMOLE DE!!!
“Sir, you are the light of Osun State and I pray God grants you good health and long life to achieve all your good intentions for the people of Osun. God bless you sir.”
The People Democratic Party won with 403,371 votes while the ruling party, All Progressive Party (APC) had 375,027 votes.
Funke is also the deputy governor candidate of PDP in Lagos state for the next election.
