American rapper, Kanye West, has been banned and prohibited from performing at the Grammy Awards.

According to his rep. who disclosed the information, the decision was made due to his “concerning online behaviour” and the constant cyber bullying.

The 44-year-old despite having five nominations this year will not be attending and his performance has been cancelled.

The Grammy 2022 will be held on April 3, 2022 with Trevor Noah as the host. According to reports, Kanye’s ban must have stemmed from the latest altercation the rapper had with the host.

Recall that days ago, Kanye had attacked Trevor Noah on social media for speaking out for Kim Kardsahian and other women in the same predicament.

Trevor, on his Daily Show, had talked about the comparison between her mother, Patricia and Kim Kardashian.

According to him, his father had shot his mother in the head for wanting to leave him. He said although the mother survived the shot but it was not a nice move on a woman.

Trevor said, “What (Kim Kardashian) is going through is terrifying to watch, and it shines a spotlight on what so many women go through when they choose to leave.

“As a society, we have to ask ourselves questions. Do we wish to stand by and watch a car crash when we thought we saw it coming?

“All I’m saying about this story is, if Kim cannot escape this, Kim Kardashian, if she cannot escape this, then what chance do normal women have?”

Reacting to this, Kanye had taken to his Instagram page using racial slurs to describe Trevor. He posted a picture of Noah and wrote, “All together now… K**n baya my lord k**n baya k**n baya my lord K**n baya Oooo’ lord K**n baya.”

Responding to his comment, Trevor had described Kanye to be a positive image and model worth emulating, an indelible part” of his life.

However with his new development, he (Trevor) said the rapper broke his heart. He replied, “There are few artists who have had more of an impact on me than you Ye. You took samples and turned them into symphonies.

“You took your pain and through the wire turned it into performance perfection. I thought differently about how I spend my money because of you, I learned to protect my child-like creativity from grown thoughts because of you, s**t I still smile every time I put on my seatbelt because of you.

“You’re an indelible part of my life Ye. Which is why it breaks my heart to see you like this.

“I don’t care if you support Trump and I don’t care if you roast Pete. I do however care when I see you on a path that’s dangerously close to peril and pain.

“You have every right to fight for your family. But you have to know the difference between that and fighting your family.

“If you’re just joking about it all and I’m an idiot for caring, then so be it. But I’d rather be the idiot who spoke up.”

Trevor added: “Oh and as for k**n…clearly some people graduate but we still stupid.

“Don’t ever forget, the biggest trick racists ever played on black people was teaching us to strip each other of our blackness whenever we disagree.

“Tricking us into dividing ourselves up into splinters so that we would never unite into a powerful rod.”

This act has also caused Kanye West’s Instagram account banned for 24 hours.
