Popular activist, DJ Switch, has received knocks on her head over her comments as regards pastor Adeboye.
Recall that the clergyman had recently stated that the country will be led right if God helps Tinubu.
In reaction to this, DJ Switch, who was a strong member of the #EndSARS movement claimed that the clergyman who was allegedly silent during the violence and suffering of Nigerians has finally found his voice when it’s related to a politician.
She said the clergyman needs to let the whole world know the god he serves.
Her tweet read, “Daddy Adeboye seems to have found the voice he lost when Nigerians were suffering suppression and violence from his best friends in the APC!
“Now god wants to help Tinubu fix Nigeria? One day, una go show us the particular god wey una dey refer to!
Know for yourself!”
This of course didn’t sit well with netizens who felt the activist was out of line.
Some chastised her for her lack of respect while others inquired what her business was in what Adeboye said.
Someone said, “And what exactly is the correlation between what he said and how Nigerians are suffering?
Another one said, “What’s wrong with what the pastor said? Should he pray against BAT? He’s leaving him and Nigeria in God’s hands now.”
A furious one said, “Social media has really allowed a lot of you people to lose your manners. How do u people insult a man who is old enough to be your grandfather, is this wokeness or stupidity? It’s okay if you guys do not agree with what he said. But must u insult him? Omo this new gen z or whatever you people call yourselves. Shey una dey okay like this?”
Another one wrote, “I wonder how most of you think. Shey na Adeboye go remove Tinubu ni. Person wey don enter already, and baba use prayer shock am. Abi this, DJ no understand English anymore? This is like trying to ask God to help him change Nigeria and you are there saying nonsense. Oya come and change Nigeria if you don’t want God to change it.”
