Fast rising singer, Michael Adebayo, also known as Rugar, has garnered reactions from concerned fans after a public harassment was made on him on stage.
The artiste, who was performing for his fans, was groped by a female spectator when he moved closer to the edge of the stage.
The act had triggered the artiste, who had stared angrily for a moment before walking off the stage.
This has created a series of reactions from concerned Nigerians who felt the act was gratuitous.
Some said the judgement would have been instant if the perpetrator was a male.
Below are some of the reactions on Twitter:
Honestly I feel that the woman that assaulted rugar should be found and arrested. Let's not be hypocrites a man is a being that can also be assaulted. There's proof I see no reason why she shouldn't be taken to court and prosecuted. Feminists can you see your gender….

Definitely won't be loud because it's not the other way round, If Rugar can find that girl, he should and sue her! He legit shouldn't have left the stage like that… Seeing how he looked at her before leaving the stage Omo! Some girls are shameless ?

My position on Rugar's assualt:
Find that girl and sue her, not necessarily for the gains but that it serves a punishment and deterrence to female sexual offenders…— War Dagger™ (@iCourtYou) March 27, 2022
Rugar is now a gentleman.
The stage molestation isn't shaking any social platform, not even offline.Men go through lots of molestation that no one cares to know.
Ask your younger sons, they may tell you.But it's well.#CriticalRaceTheory #rugar #actualkpopopinions

If that was Arya Starr and a male fan put his hands under her skirt live on stage. The whole Twitter would've suffered a meltdown.
