A few celebrities have condemned how the founder of Mountain of Holy Ghost Intervention and Deliverance Ministry, Prophet Chukwuemeka Ohanaemere aka Odumeje, was treated following the demolition of his church.
A video had gone viral hours ago showing how the officials present during the demolition were manhandling the clergyman.
This had created an uproar in the entertainment industry and amongst the fans of the clergyman.
Some said they shouldn’t have demolished a church while others frowned against the way he was pushed and slapped.
Reacting to this, the president of Omega Fire Ministries Worldwide, Apostle Johnson Suleman, said the act is ‘primitive’.
He tweeted on Thursday, “I just saw a video of Pastor Odumeje being assaulted by operatives that’s very primitive and uncalled for.
“Those operatives overstepped their boundaries and I expect Governor Soludo to condemn it.
“It’s condemnable highly!.”
Actress Rita Edochie who refers to Odumeje as her spiritual father put the Anambra government on blast for their decision.
She said the church is never their problem because there are more pressing issues to be discussed and attended to. She listed some of the troubling problems in the state.
Rita also pointed out that such an act can not be taken out on an Iman because it calls for an immediate chaos.
Odumeje’s building which is attached to his church was demolished on Thursday, July 7. According to reports, the ‘Indaboski’ as he is often called have gotten the notice since April 2022.
