Media personality, Shade Ladipo, has spoken about the double standard by Africans when it comes to marriage.
Shade said this is reaction to rapper M.I Abaga getting married at the age of 41.
The rapper recently had his traditional marriage and the industry rejoiced with him.
According to Shade, The ‘Aspire to inspire’ netizens found everything wrong with the likes of Kemi Adetiba, Rita Dominic when they got married late but are silent when M.I is getting married at a similar age range.
Shade on her Instagram story said, “MI Abaga got married at 41 and not one meguire to aspire to perspire about his age…
“If na Kemi Adetiba or my Rita D it would have been a different story.”
