Afrobeat singer, Yemi Alade, has revealed how her valuables and money were stolen from the hotel room she lodged in Abidjan, Cote d’Ivoire.
She took to her Instagram page to lament on the current situation.
According to her, she had just stepped out of her room and her room was turned upside down. She went further to reveal that the incident is being investigated.
She said, “A few minutes after I left my room, some unknown people decided to go through my things and steal: all the money they could find, Very good.”
“They are investigating, looking through cameras and all but she knows the money is all gone by now.
“The suspects are all denying.”
She had attended a 3-day gathering of the Creative Africa Nexus Weekend (CANEX WKND) in Cote d’Ivoire.
