Veteran afrobeat singer, Innocent Idibia also known as Tuface/2baba, has finally reacted to the criticism and reactions over Annie’s involvement in the Netflix’s series Young, Famous and African.
Tuface, who had featured in the series, had engaged in a series of clips with Annie.
At first, he surfaced at Diamond Platnumz’s party while talking to Annie on the phone. He also surprised his wife by flying to South Africa to be with her and to renew their vows.
However, Annie had received criticism over her interaction with other cast and some dramas involving alleged insecurity over her marriage.
She was also bashed for referring to Tuface’s multiple births as mistakes. In her own word, she said, “How do you make the same mistake twice”
Tuface took to Instagram to brag about his wife. According to him, he has never liked reality shows but Annie had played her role well and was real.
He revealed his continuous love for his ‘African Queen’ after the way she portrayed herself on the show, adding that all opinions are valid but his stands.
He said, “Oya, let everybody bring their superior opinion. All is valid.
“I’ve never been a fan of all this reality TV thingy, but I must ask or rather point out the fact that whatever Annie felt she said it straight up to whoever.
“She never laughed with anybody and said (something) different behind. That’s one of the many reasons I love this African Queen.”
