Veteran Nollywood actor, Muyiwa Ademola, has disclosed reasons behind a senior colleague who broke down in tears during a set.
Ademola took to his Instagram page to show a series of photos of veteran Nollywood actress, Idowu Philip also known as Mama Rainbow in tears.
According to Ademola, the actress and the rest of the crew were reading the lines during production and Mama Rainbow got too much into character. He said she was unable to pull out of character.
He went further to explain how difficult it is for actors to get back to their usual self after being in character.
His caption read, “We were just working through the limes and Mama could not control her tears. It took so much effort to calm her down.
“We sometimes cross the bridge to the world beyond in order to give justice to our roles and getting back becomes quite difficult.”
