Actress Iyabo Ojo has fired back at a social media influencer, Wale Akerele, who referred to the actress as a prostitute over her choice of presidential candidate.
The actress shared a screenshot of the influencer’s tweet on her Instagram. In the post, Wale said the All Progressive Party candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu doesn’t need Iyabo’s support because he needs the support of decent women.
An excerpt of the post read, “Asiwaju doesn’t need Alasewo support. He needs decent women with class, intelligent… ”
In reaction to this, Iyabo inquired as to who Wale is. She said the man is a product of the same thing he called her.
She wrote, “Who is this one, animal, place, or thing?……….. Akowere, trust me, you’re a product of Alasewo bcos your mother, wife & sidehens are all bonafide memebers.”
In a previous post, Iyabo Ojo had made her support for Labour Party candidate, Peter Obi, public. She also begged people to stop bullying celebrities over their choices.
This had come after her colleague, Toyin Abraham, was bullied over Bola Ahmed Tinubu aka Asiwaju.
