Afrobeat singer, Joshua Olonitan, also known as Slim Joe, has passed on at the age of 30.
The ‘O ti Yanyan’ crooner reportedly died on Sunday, January 2, 2022 after a long battle of kidney disease.
Recall that the singer via his relatives had cried out for help, requesting for N15 Million treatment for his kidney defect.
However, he later succumbed to the illness on Sunday.
His colleague, Raymond Gbaji, had shared the news on his Facebook page.
Gbaji also penned a heartfelt tribute to the late singer.
Slim Joe is best known for his hit single _O ti Yanyan_ which was released in 2009.
He is from Odo-Ayedun in Ikole Local Government Area of Ekiti State.
