Grammy winner, Damini Ogulu also known as Burna Boy, has reacted to the death of South African rapper, AKA, who was murdered by unknown men.
The rapper was killed on Florida road, Durban, on February 10, in front of a restaurant.
The ‘Last last’ crooner in a series of Instagram stories expressed his shock over the death of the popular rapper.
He said he wouldn’t have wished death on him even though they are not friends. He said the deceased had seen him with a gun the last time and had asked for reasons behind it.
According to him, it was for his personal protection as a celebrity.
Burna Boy hopes that his killers are brought to justice soon. He stated that the news got to him late.
One of the posts read, “WTF is all of that about. I just heard he died, seen that video at that restaurant. Took me out of a positive mood.Took me back to that day when you saw my gun and you said I was wild.
“Then I told you you should have one too/ Cuz it weren’t like niggaz wasn’t dying but I thought you knew/ And I ain’t really fuck wit you/ But I didn’t want you dead, it was like that with me and you/ Wicked!/
“I hope they catch whoever did you wicked/ I hope you rest in peace. Even though we ain’t kick it/ At the end of the day we some grown ass niggaz.”
Another post read, “RIP AKA”. His killers are yet to be identified. The police confirmed that two unknown men fired several shots at the rapper, his friend and a bodyguard. AKA and his friend lost their lives while the bodyguard suffered injuries.
