Founder of Mavin records, Don Jazzy, has urged ladies to stand on their refusal to sexual approaches from their producers.

Don Jazzy made this statements in a recent interview with BBC News Pidgin.

He said he has had encounters with some ladies’s private chats and he feels sorry for them.

The music producer, who stated that ladies striving to make a name for themselves in the entertainment industry suffer these harassment and assaults the most, added that producers in such acts should be exposed.

The Mavin boss said people feel that the act is a norm that shouldn’t be frowned on.

“I have a record label, so I have male and female artistes. In the past, maybe I had the opportunity to go through a female artiste’s phone and read conversations that the female artistes had had with a bunch of producers, TV people, people in the industry.. everybody just wants sex. It’s tiring. I feel sorry for them.”

According to him, more attention needs to be made on the male children to fix this issue from the source.

The Producer admonished ladies to always expose such producers instead of accepting them.

“We need to fix the system in general. We need to train the male child better,” he said.

“If these young ladies start calling them out, that’s a start. If a producer says he wants to sleep with you, call him out.”
