Nigerian skit-maker, Debo Adebayo, has revealed threats made on him as regards the reopening of Lekki Tollgate.

Recall that the Lagos State government had notified the public that the tollgate which had been shut down since October 2020 will be reopening on April 1, 2022 but operations will begin on April 15.

A scheduled protest is expected to occur at the tollgate today if the government decides to take on any action.

Mr Macaroni had reposted a tweet from a man identified as Prince Tiamiyu Lawal, who had clearly threatened to kill the skit maker on sight if he’s seen at the tollgate.

The skit maker stated that the threat is amongst other threats he gets on a daily basis. He added that the Nigeria Police Force and the Lagos state government take action.

The tweet read, “This Macaroni of guy will most likely end his life untimely because of foolish… very senseless unpatriotic bastard…

“What’s his business with Lekki Toll Gate. I pray I get hold of him tomorrow at the Toll Gate, I will kill him on sight.”

Reposting this, Mr Macaroni tweeted, “This is one of many threats I receive regularly. Nigerian Police and Lagos state Government… I love you, and I know you love me too.”
