Journalist Kemi Olunloyo has been slammed heavily over her constant dragging of singer Davido in the mud since his son’s death.
Recall that Kemi in a series of posts had speculated that Davido and his whole family are basically reaping what they sow. She made claims that the family had offended some group of persons.
Kemi some hours ago had shared the announcement of Davido’s alleged album. She wrote, “Davido’s new album. Congrats to O.B.O. Factual news or fake news. Discuss.”
The announcement had circulated on Twitter and Instagram with many hoping the news was true.
The alleged album has several features like Travis Scott, Wizkid, Miley Cyrus, Black Sheriff etc.
In a new post, the controversial journalist has woken up the demons with alleged news of Davido not fulfilling a N20million promise.
Before his unfortunate incident, the afrobeat singer had promised to help some business owners with N20 million, a promise Kemi claimed he’s yet to achieve.
With fury, the artiste’s fans didn’t take it lightly with Kemi. They bashed her for being insensitive. Others told her to face her journalism and stop meddling in people’s businesses.
Someone wrote, ” Please leave this guy alone, we should always be sensitive around us. Haba, doing too much lately. Face your investigative journalism.”
Another person reminded her that the artiste recently lost his son. “Dr Kemi, the man is still mourning. Life has changed a lot for him recently, can we just give him a break?”
Another fan wrote, “Please leave Davido alone. You are sha looking for his attention sha, is he d only artiste in Nigeria?”
Someone wrote, “Are you being serious right now?huh who in their right senses would be thinking of David giving money to anyone at this point in time? He promised right it’s not a debt …. Do you even bother to know what’s going on in his life at the moment? If he’s able to sleep at night, if his joy has been restored, if he still has his contagious smile, or if he is dying in silence??? For a mother you should understand better. Now is obviously not the time and place for such insensitive post.”
