American actress, Allison Mack, has begun serving her prison sentence two weeks earlier than the scheduled date.

She was arrested in 2018 alongside her male counterpart.

Mack was found guilty for her role in the Nxivm sex cult, a group that started in 1998 as a self-help programme.

The group was accused of a modern slave system with its leader, Keith Rainere, and actresses including Mack.

The Smallville actress was arrested in Mexico where they fled to and was charged to three years in prison for her role in the crime, which involves recruiting women for sex trade, forcing them to have sex and conspiracy.
Mack also admitted to racketeering.

The Federal Correctional Institution in Dublin, CA, has reported the actress has begun her sentence on Monday, September 13, weeks before her initial date, September 29.

This is the same correctional facility that Lori Loughlin and Felicity Huffman served their sentence after confessing to their college scandals.

The leader, Keith Raniere, was equally found guilty of overseeing a “slave and master” system within the group.

It was reported that female recruits were allegedly branded with Raniere’s initials and expected to have sex with him, as part of what is expected in the system.

Allison Mack is best known for her acting role in American series ‘Smallville’ as Chloe Sullivan.
