Big Brother Naija star, Tacha, has warned religious leaders to desist from using fake prophecies to influence people’s vote during the election period.
Tacha spoke about the present situation of the country and why there shouldn’t be a repeat of what some religious leaders did in the past election, where they were manipulating their members with untrue prophecies.
In a video posted on her Instagram story on April 28, 2021, she started off with how she respects religion and their leaders.
She said, “I respect religion a lot and I respect religious leaders.
“Nigeria is a serious business, Nigeria has been set back for 50 years and it will take us a long time.
“Do not involve God, in what God did not tell you.”
Pointing out some common mistakes religion leaders make to mislead people during election, Tacha said, “2023 election is coming up, support your candidate. If God did not say anything to you, don’t involve him.
“So along the line, you don’t start using scriptures in the Bible to back up whatever you said God said. God is not a God of confusion.
“Support your candidate single handedly, support your candidate, nobody will be upset with you.”
Tacha also posted some text photos to her story.
“2023 is coming! Support your candidate with your CHEST if you can’t do that, DEY YOUR HOUSE! No need misleading people. Sick and tired of the lies, it’s annoying.” She wrote.
